The Energy & Utility Forum held the reception in the House of Lords Terrace – Cholmondeley Room on Monday 23rd October 2017 from 6.30 to 8.30. Those invited to attend the reception included senior politicians, key civil servants, senior executives of generation and supply companies ranging from the big six to merchant plant and battery generators, the new supply companies/aggregators, together with banks, equity investors, investment funds – as well as developers and some very large end-users.
There were two speakers at the event, Robert Symons, Chief Executive of Western Power Distribution and incoming Chairman of the Energy Networks Association and a specialist energy MP. They spoke about two connected issues:

Is there a future for ‘green gas’ to replace natural gas and if so when is that expected to happen?
